Objectives

• The Labour Department, through its Attached Departments, realizes its role as under:-

• Implements various Labour Laws for regulating employment conditions, working environment and working conditions of the workers;

• Extends social security to the workers;

• Extends welfare facilities to the workers;

• Caters for education of the workers & their children.
